Frequently Asked Questions
What should the customer know about your pricing?
Our pricing is project-dependent. Every project has its own variables, so estimates are based on the type of work required, as well as any complications and the severity of issues that may arise.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin with a free, no-obligation inspection and provide clear information so you can make an informed decision. If an insurance claim is required, our claims specialist assists with contacting your insurer and meets with the adjuster on-site to review all identified damage. Once approved—or for cash or financed projects—we schedule installation, typically within two weeks. After completion, your warranty is signed and we remain available to you for the next 10 years.
What education and training do you have that relates to your work?
Every member of D1 Construction Services is Owens Corning certified. Our inspector is HAAG certified in residential roofing. Our partner company, Code Red, is licensed in fire and water restoration and holds certifications in mold inspection, remediation, and safety. Our EHS Manager is OSHA 510 certified, ensuring all projects meet strict safety standards.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
We began this work to protect homeowners from insurance carriers that often underpay claims. Our goal is to ensure customers receive what they are rightfully owed while maintaining a reputation built on integrity and quality workmanship.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with a wide range of clients, from insurance-covered roofing claims and cash projects to mold remediation, fire and water restoration, drainage systems, and retaining walls. Our clients value our transparency, communication, and results.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a contractor?
Always research the contractor before signing anything. Look for a company that is honest, experienced, and committed to quality.
What questions should customers think through before starting a project?
Customers should know who their insurance carrier is, clearly identify the exact problems they are experiencing, and understand the root cause of the issue if possible.
